Schoenherr has announced that, as of August 1, 2015, lawyers Vladimir Cizek, Zoltan Palinkas, and Gabriela Porupkova will be promoted to Local Partners in the firm's Prague office.
Vladimir Cizek, who graduated from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in 2006, began his career that year with Hogan Lovells, before joining Schoenherr in August 2013. He focuses primarily on M&A transactions, corporate law matters, and capital markets.
Zoltan Palinkas graduated from Charles University in Prague in 1996, joined Schoenherr in 1998, and was admitted to the Slovakian bar in 2001. He specializes in corporate/M&A, restructurings, and employment law in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Gabriela Porupkova graduated from the Masaryk University in Brno in 2000, and joined Schoenherr in 2007. She focuses on real estate and corporate matters.
According to a statement released by Schoenherr, “all three new partners will take on roles in the Prague office's management, mainly in the areas of human resources, knowledge management and business development."
"The appointment of new partners in Schoenherr's Prague office is the result of the office's long-term positive development and reflects the confidence the Schoenherr network has in the Czech Republic's growing legal services market," said Schoenherr Prague Managing Partner Martin Kubanek of the new Partners on his team.
