Drakopoulos has successfully represented the Premier League before the Romanian Trademark office (OSIM) in an important trademark opposition the Premier League filed against an application submitted by a Romanian company operating in the automotive industry for a trademark the Premier League claimed was confusingly similar to its famous lion logo.

The opposition was partially accepted by the OSIM after an initial hearing, and the Premier League appealed, requesting that the entire application (including classes not covered by the Premier League trademark) be dismissed. On appeal the OSIM accepted the Premier League’s arguments and ruled in its,  dismissing the application in its entirety.

The Drakopoulos team was led by Partner Adrian Roseti, supported by Senior Associate Claudia Hutina.
