Schoenherr, Oberhammer, Puttinger Vogl, and Saxinger Advise on Trelleborg's Acquisition of Nexus Elastomer Molds in Austria

Schoenherr has advised the Trelleborg Group, acting via Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, on the acquisition of Nexus Elastomer Molds. Oberhammer and Puttinger Vogl advised the sellers, Dietmar Waizenauer, Bernhard Waizenauer, and Benjamin Fellinger. Saxinger advised Atlan, another seller.

According to Schoenherr, Nexus Elastomer Molds is an Austrian specialist in advanced tooling solutions and automated manufacturing cells primarily used for liquid silicone rubber applications. The company has previously partnered with Trelleborg in both development and production, and the acquisition deepens this long-standing cooperation while strengthening Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ capabilities in silicone tooling, manufacturing, and automation. Sweden-based Trelleborg focuses on engineered polymer solutions, leveraging materials, and application expertise to serve customers across a wide range of industrial sectors. The group operates in approximately 40 countries and reported annual sales of around SEK 34 billion in 2024.
