Baker McKenzie and its Turkish affiliate law firm Esin Attorney Partnership have advised Turkiye Wealth Fund on a USD 1 billion Reg S Eurobond issuance offered in two tranches with maturities of 5.5 and 10 years. A&O Shearman and its Turkish affiliate law firm Gedik & Eraksoy advised the banks.
According to Baker McKenzie, the offering drew nearly USD 10 billion in orders. The joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners included Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Emirates NBD Bank, and ING Bank N.V. Additional joint bookrunners included Arab Banking Corporation, First Abu Dhabi Bank, ICBC Standard Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, J.P. Morgan Securities, Merrill Lynch International, SMBC Bank International, Societe Generale, and Standard Chartered Bank.
