CMS has advised DSK Bank and OTP Bank on the financing of a renewable energy development near Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria. Trichkov & Partners reportedly advised the unidentified counterparty.
According to CMS, the lenders are providing a EUR 54 million financing package to support the project, which contributes to Bulgaria’s broader plans to expand its clean energy and grid-stabilisation capacity. The project combines a 65.15-megawatt photovoltaic plant with a 130-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system.
The CMS team included Partners Dimitar Zwiatkow and Ivan Gergov, Senior Associate Desislava Anastasova, and Associate Anna Philcheva.
