Kinstellar and Cerha Hempel Advise on BYD's Acquisition of IP West Office Building

Kinstellar has advised BYD on its acquisition of the IP West office building in Budapest from CA Immo. Cerha Hempel advised CA Immo.

BYD is a Chinese electric vehicle and battery manufacturing company.

According to Kinstellar, the transaction marks a pivotal moment in BYD’s European expansion strategy as the IP West building is set to become the company’s European headquarters. IP West offers approximately 32,100 square meters of leasable office space and 800 parking spaces.

The Kinstellar team included Counsel Barnabas Sagi, Associate Bertalan Vanya, and Junior Associates Anna Szilagyi and Krisztina Varga.

The Cerha Hempel team included Partner Mark Krenn.
