Schoenherr and Szecsenyi & Partners Advise on Julius Meinl Living's Acquisition of Protected Building in Budapest from Longbridge Group

Schoenherr has advised Julius Meinl Living on the acquisition of a protected building on Hegedu Utca in Budapest’s 6th District from Longbridge Group. Szecsenyi & Partners advised Longbridge Group.

Julius Meinl Living is an owner, developer, and operator of luxury hotels in the CEE region.

According to Schoenherr, the asset is slated for a full refurbishment and conversion into a luxury hotel to be branded The Julius Budapest, with opening currently planned for early 2029.

Longbridge Group is a developer active in hospitality projects.

The Schoenherr team included Partner Laszlo Krupl, Attorney at Law Viktoria Magyar, and Associate Gergo Levente Kaso.

The Szecsenyi & Partners team included Partners Laszlo Szecsenyi and Balazs Vagvolgyi.
