Schoenherr has advised UniCredit Bank Hungary on EUR 58.9 million in project finance facilities granted to Greenvolt Power, a subsidiary of Greenvolt Group, for the development of Project Buj. Dentons reportedly advised Greenvolt.
According to Schoenherr, the project, located in Buj, Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg County, comprises a 99-megawatt/288-megawatt-hour battery storage facility and is currently under construction, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2026. Project Buj is being developed by Greenvolt Power as part of Greenvolt Group’s broader strategy to expand large-scale renewable energy and energy storage infrastructure across Europe.
