Jalsovszky has promoted Peter Barta to Partner and Head of the firm's Tax Litigation and Economic Crimes team.
Barta has been with Jalsovszky since 2014, having joined the firm as a Junior Associate and Tax Advisor. Earlier, he worked for EY as a Tax Advisor from 2013 to 2014.
"Peter is one of the greatest examples of the path to partnership in our office and shows the future to today's younger colleagues," said Managing Partner Pal Jalsovszky. "Peter came to us 12 years ago, still as a trainee lawyer. Since then, he has worked hard and decisively through all the steps, has become a professional determinant of the office, and, last but not least, has built very serious client relationships. It is especially worthy of honor that Peter has not lost the human attitude and modesty that so many people love him for in the office."
"I see the new role not primarily as a title, but as a responsibility: responsibility for my immediate team, with whom I work every day, as well as responsibility for the long-term success and values of Jalsovszky, a team to which I have been a part for more than a decade," Barta added. "It is especially important for me to continue working in a professional and human environment that is based on cooperation, trust, and mutual respect in addition to high-quality legal work."
