Schoenherr has advised Enery on the acquisition of a 32-asset operational photovoltaic portfolio in Slovakia with a combined capacity of 34.6 megawatts from ContourGlobal and Energy Infrastructure Partners. Eversheds Sutherland advised ContourGlobal. Kinstellar reportedly advised on the matter as well.
ContourGlobal develops, acquires, and operates power generation and storage assets.
According to Schoenherr, the assets are distributed nationwide and support Slovakia’s energy transition objectives. Following the acquisition, Enery’s operational PV capacity rises to 561 megawatts across CEE. The assets generate approximately 651 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually.
