Sorainen has advised Desktop Commander on its EUR 1.1 million pre-seed round led by venture capital funds 42CAP and BADideas.fund.
According to Sorainen, Desktop Commander has developed the open-source Desktop Commander MCP server, a tool that gives artificial intelligence direct access to a user's computer and file system, enabling it to manage files, work with the terminal, write code, and interact with users in natural language. The funding will support continued product development and team growth as Desktop Commander scales its platform.
The Sorainen team included Partner Ramona Miglane and Associates Kate Berlaua and Juris Stenins.
