Greenberg Traurig has announced that Mateusz Zalenski has rejoined its Warsaw office, as a Local Partner.

Zalenski returns to Greenberg Traurig after spending a few years with DLA Piper. He earned an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School and graduated from the University of Warsaw as well as SGH Warsaw School of Economics. According to the firm, he specializes in securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market transactions.

"I would like to welcome Mateusz home. We know each other well and his presence as a new Local Partner at Greenberg Traurig will certainly contribute to further strengthening the positions of our Capital Markets and M&A practice areas as leaders in these categories," commented Greenberg Traurig Senior Partner Lejb Fogelman.

"Mateusz has all the skills to achieve great success as our new Local Partner," added Jolanta Nowakowska‑Zimoch, Greenberg Traurig’s Managing Partner in Poland. "This move is also in line with our strategy – betting on young up-and-coming top market performers, who have already proven themselves and are ready to provide clients with comprehensive legal advice at the highest level."
