Gide has advised Bakelite Synthetics on its acquisition of Sestec.
Bakelite Synthetics is a producer of thermoset specialty resins.
Sestec is a Poland-based company developing 100% bio-based adhesives designed to reduce VOC emissions and advance sustainable wood manufacturing. According to Gide, founded through German-Polish R&D collaboration, Sestec has pioneered environmentally friendly adhesive solutions for engineered wood products such as MDF, HDF, OSB, and particleboard.
The Gide team in Warsaw included Partner Pawel Grzeskowiak, Counsel Wojciech Czyzewski, and Associates Marcin Gutkowski and Magdalena Kalinowska.
