Allen Overy Shearman Sterling has advised Santander Bank Polska on its EUR 500 million fixed-to-floating note issuance due 2031.
According to A&O Shearman, the notes were placed by Banco Santander, Erste Group Bank, and PKO Bank Polski as joint lead managers. The transaction provides the bank with diversified, cost-efficient long-term funding and reflects continued investor demand for Polish financial institutions. The deal marks Santander Bank Polska’s first syndicated euro issuance since 2018.
The A&O Shearman team included Warsaw-based Partner Arkadiusz Pedzich, Counsel Lukasz Walczyna, and Associate Filip Glowka, with further lawyers in London.
