Norton Rose Fulbright and BCGL Advise on Lantmannen Energi's Acquisition of Ekobenz

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Lantmannen Energi on the acquisition of Ekobenz from Agencja Rozwoju Przemyslu and minority shareholders. BCGL advised the sellers.

Lantmannen Energi is part of the Lantmannen Group, a Northern European agricultural cooperative owned by approximately 17,000 Swedish farmers and active across agriculture, machinery, bioenergy, and food production. The group operates in more than 20 countries and reports an annual turnover of approximately SEK 70 billion (EUR 6.4 billion). Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Lublin, Ekobenz is a developer and operator of Ethanol-to-Gasoline technology, producing advanced low-carbon biofuels at its commercial facility in Bogumilow, Poland. The company employs 61 people, recorded EUR 13 million in revenues in 2024, and supplies specialty sustainable fuels, including for motorsport applications.
