Tuca, Zbarcea & Asociatii has promoted Manuela Gornoviceanu, Ana Popa, and Sergiu Cretu to Partners as part of a promotion round that also saw 11 lawyers become Managing Associates and five lawyers become Senior Associates.
Gornoviceanu heads the firm's white-collar and business crime practice. She has been with the firm since 2017.
Popa focuses her practice on dispute resolution. She joined Tuca, Zbarcea & Asociatii in 2010 as an Associate and was promoted to a Senior Associate in 2013 and a Managing Associate in 2019.
Cretu's practice coordinates the gaming law practice of the firm while also focusing on commercial law, corporate and M&A, data privacy, intellectual property, e-commerce, consumer protection, and cybersecurity. He has been with the firm since 2014, when he joined as a Senior Lawyer. In 2015, he became an Attorney at Law and was promoted to a Managing Associate in 2019.
As part of the promotion round, Mihaela Baiculescu, Vlad Birta, Bianca Cercel, Catalina Ionescu, Daniela Manolea, Constantin Matei, Cristian Mitescu, Lucian Moroi, Maria Olteanu, Evelina Popa, and Serban Sarbu were appointed to Managing Associates, while Maria Avram, Iulia Barbu, Tudor Bonifate, Ioana Patrascu, and Andrada Petrariu were promoted to Senior Associates.
