Musat & Asociatii has successfully advised Nurol Insaat ve Ticaret on securing a final and binding outcome in the public procurement procedure for Lot 3 of the Arad-Oradea Express Road.
According to Musat & Asociatii, the firm represented Nurol both in positioning it as the successful bidder and in defending the award against challenges brought by Automagistral Precon, the contractor awarded Lot 1 of the same project. The proceedings involved complex procedural and EU-law issues, including objections relating to the Turkish origin of the economic operator, alleged inadmissibility and late filing, as well as requests for a preliminary reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union. All challenges were rejected by the competent authorities, resulting in the definitive confirmation of NUROL’s award.
