Nyerges & Partners Advises R.Power on Long-Term Optimization Agreement for Scornicesti BESS Project in Romania

Nyerges & Partners has advised R.Power Renewables on a long-term BESS optimization agreement with GEN-I relating to the Scornicesti 127-megawatt/254-megawatt-hours battery energy storage system project in Romania.

According to Nyerges & Partners, GEN-I will act as the exclusive commercial optimizer and trading partner for the project, responsible for commercial optimization across wholesale electricity markets and ancillary service mechanisms, including revenue management and real-time dispatching.

The Nyerges & Partners team included Managing Partner Mihaela Nyerges, Partner Horia Ispas, Counsel Irina Moinescu, and Junior Associate Roberta Emilia Roca.
