Paksoy has advised Gama Holding subsidiary Gama Enerji on the sale of its 870-megawatt Ic Anadolu Natural Gas Combined Power Plant in Kirikkale to Socar Turkiye.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.
According to Paksoy, the asset is one of the largest natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plants in Turkiye and represents a significant divestment in the Turkish conventional power generation sector.
The Paksoy team included Partners Elvan Aziz and Togan Turan, Counsel Zekican Samli, and Associates Sibel Postacioglu and Goktug Selvitopu.
Paksoy did not respond to our inquiry on the matter.
