Avellum has advised Kyivstar on obtaining conditional merger clearance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for its acquisition of Tabletki.ua.
Tabletki.ua is an online platform for searching and reserving pharmaceuticals across a nationwide network of independent pharmacies.
According to Avellum, the clearance was granted subject to commitments addressing competition and data-related considerations. The approved commitments include measures aimed at ensuring non-discriminatory access to online services, safeguards for the use of data, and provisions intended to preserve effective competition and consumer choice in the relevant markets.
The Avellum team included Partner Mykyta Nota, Counsel Anton Arkhypov, and Associates Veronika Humeniuk and Yuliia Bulenok.
