Popescu & Asociatii has successfully represented the interests of the City of Sinaia in a construction dispute.
According to Popescu & Asociatii, the City of Sinaia has managed to keep a financing contract, executed by the Administrative Territorial Unit Sinaia, for the construction of a Park & Ride parking, which will help with the “extremely congested traffic. Thus, both locals and visitors will have the opportunity to park their cars at the entrance to the town and use the public transport provided by the authorities, a measure that is expected to reduce the current traffic by about 50%.”
According to the firm, “the decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice is final and upholds the decision of the Bucharest Court of Appeal which annulled the termination decision, illegally issued by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, regarding the financing contract concluded by the City of Sinaia for the construction, with European funds, of the Park & Ride parking.”
