Alrud Advises VTB on Acquisition of Novorossiysk Grain Terminal from NSCP

Alrud has advised the VTB Group on its RUB 36 billion acquisition of 100% shares in Novorossiysk Grain Terminal LCC from the NSCP Group.

The transaction is scheduled to close in the second quarter of 2019.

The Novorossiysk Grain Terminal is a complex for transshipment of grains and oilseeds in the Russian port of Novorossiysk. The capacity of grain and oilseeds for export is over 3.6 million tons per year.

The NCSP Group, which is a member of PJSC Transneft Group, is a port operator in Russia that is traded on the Moscow Exchange and London Stock Exchange. The NCSP Group consists of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, LLC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, JSC Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard, JSC NCSP Fleet, JSC NLE, LLC IPP, Baltic Stevedore Company LLC, and JSC SFP.
