GKC Partners Advises Enerjisa Uretim on Financing of up to USD 1.012 Billion

White & Case Turkish affiliate GKC Partners has advised Enerjisa Uretim on up to USD 1.012 billion in financing from a syndicate of lenders including Akbank, DEG, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, KfW IPEX-Bank, and Proparco for the development and construction of 750-megawatt wind energy power plants in the Aegean region of Turkiye. Clifford Chance and its Turkish affiliate law firm Ciftci Attorney Partnership reportedly advised the banks.

According to GKC Partners, part of the loans are partially backed by Euler Hermes with an export credit cover. "This transaction is the largest wind power plant financing in the history of the Republic of Turkiye."
