Cobalt has successfully represented Latvian metalworking company East Metal before the Zemgale District Court in being granted legal protection.

According to Cobalt, "as a result, the company’s two factories in Daugavpils and Dobele, employing a total of 550 workers, are expected to resume operations shortly."

The firm further noted that "a detailed plan for East Metal’s legal protection process is currently being developed with the goal of fully restoring the company’s solvency," and that the "Ministry of Economics has also expressed support for East Metal’s efforts to resolve financial difficulties as swiftly as possible."

The Cobalt team included Specialist Counsel Martins Aljens.
