PeliPartners has advised the Adventum Group on the lease extension agreement with Genpact Romania for business premises in the Hermes Business Campus, in northern Bucharest.
Genpact Romania is currently the anchor tenant in HBC, leasing roughly 39% of the office complex with a total gross leasable area of approximately 74,500 square meters.
Genpact Romania is a business services-focused local subsidiary of Genpact. It employs over 3,500 people in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
"This deal reflects a year-long collaborative effort and a noteworthy milestone for the industry," the firm announced, citing the deal as "the largest office lease renewal in the past decade in Romania."
"This deal is a sign of stability, confidence, and long-term commitment to the market. The office environment is an essential component of our everyday professional life and – despite hiccups in recent years– it is here to stay," Managing Partner Francisc Peli commented.
