Cobalt and Njord Advise on Hanza's Acquisition of Milectria Group

Cobalt has advised Hanza on its acquisition of Milectria Group from Milectria Group Oy, Tomi Kaukonen, Juha-Matti Kaukonen, Mirka Ruoho, and Tatu Piilola. Njord, working with Applex, advised the sellers.

Milectria Group is a specialized contract manufacturer for the defense industry. It manufactures advanced electrical systems used in military vehicles, weapon systems, and other high-performance applications. It operates one production facility in Finland, two in Estonia, and manages offset business activities in Abu Dhabi.

According to Cobalt, the transaction, valued at approximately EUR 16 million, includes potential earn-out payments of up to EUR 18 million, contingent on Milectria’s future performance. The acquisition supports Hanza's LYNX strategic program, aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in high-priority sectors such as defense and security.

The Cobalt team included Partners Martin Simovart and Jesse Kivisaari, Senior Associate Liina Saaremets, and Associate Ken Saksniit.

The Njord team included Partner Erik Salur, Senior Associate Henrik Link, and Associates Raimo Klesment and Heleri Rebane.
