Filip & Company has advised Romanian book-borrowing company Bookster on the setup and launch of its Booksprint self-publishing platform aimed at aspiring authors.
Bookster is a Bucharest-based company that offers corporate clients book-borrowing services as an employee benefit. It was founded in 2013 and has since registered 152,000 readers, 1,310 corporate clients, and 6.7 million book loans.
"Through Booksprint, anyone has the opportunity to turn their own story into a printed work, and then decide whether they want to keep that story for themselves, share it with a small circle, or offer it to the world," Filip & Company Partner Monica Statescu commented. "We want this project to thrive and help bring to the fore those stories worth telling and those worth hearing."
The Filip & Company team was led by Statescu and included Senior Associates Bianca Chera and Diana Gavra and Associate Marius Gheldiu.
