Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner is advising KOPY Goldfields AB, a Swedish gold exploration company, on the sale of its subsidiary Taiga LLC, which holds several exploration and production licenses in Russia's Irkutsk Region.

According to BCLP, "Kopy Goldfields AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ First North in Stockholm, is a Swedish gold exploration company operating in Russia’s Irkutsk and Amur Regions, which are two of the world’s areas richest in gold. The company currently holds 14 licenses, grouped into three projects, which entitles them to the exploration and production of gold. Kopy Goldfield’s strategy is to create value by identifying and acquiring high potential gold projects, and then carrying out prospecting and exploration there until they are ready to be sold for cash or developed further in cooperation with a JV partner."

The BCLP team is led by Partner Anton Sitnikov and includes Counsel Nikolay Kholshev and Junior Associates Elena Shelomenzeva and Valentina Mikhaylova.
