White & Case and its Turkish affiliate law firm GKC Partners have advised joint bookrunners Citigroup Global Markets, Emirates NBD Capital, HSBC Bank, ING Bank, and BofA Securities on the USD 300 million Rule 144A/Reg S Eurobond issuance by Cimko Cimento ve Beton Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Sirketi.
Cimko is a Turkish cement and ready-mix concrete producer. According to White & Case, the issuance marks Cimko’s first direct entry into international capital markets and is expected to contribute to the optimization of its debt structure while accelerating its energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives. Cimko is owned by Sanko Holding Anonim Sirketi, a 120-year-old Turkish industrial conglomerate with operations across sectors such as textiles, packaging, energy, and cement.
