Schoenherr, working with Kirkland & Ellis, has advised Hellman & Friedman on its joint investment with CVC in Mehilainen.
Hellman & Friedman is an American private equity firm founded in 1984 by Warren Hellman and Tully Friedman. It makes investments primarily through leveraged buyouts as well as growth capital investments.
Mehilainen is a healthcare and social care provider in Finland.
According to Schoenherr, as part of the transaction, Mehilainen has agreed to acquire two major regional healthcare providers: Regina Maria in Romania and MediGroup in Serbia.
The Schoenherr team included Romania-based Partner Madalina Neagu and Serbia-based Partner Igor Zivkovski.
