DLA Piper Hungary Appoints Andras Orban and Viktor Romsics to Heads of Practice

DLA Piper has promoted Andras Orban to Counsel and Head of Equity Capital Markets and Viktor Romsics to Counsel and Head of Infrastructure, Construction, and Transport.

Orban has been with the firm since 2016 when he joined as a Junior Associate. He was promoted to Associate in 2020 and to Senior Associate in 2022, before making Counsel in 2025.

"Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working on some of the most significant capital markets and M&A transactions in Hungary," commented Orban. Romsics has been with DLA Piper since 2021 when he joined as a Senior Associate before being promoted to Counsel in 2025. Earlier, he worked for A-Hid as a Legal Counsel between 2014 and 2021 and for PwC Hungary as a Junior Associate between 2011 and 2014. He began his career with an earlier Junior Associate stint with DLA Piper between 2009 and 2011.
