Daiva Usinskaite-Filonoviene has become the new Managing Partner at Noor, taking over from Giedrius Murauskas who spent the past three years at the helm of the firm.

Usinskaite-Filonoviene leads the dispute resolution practice at Noor. She has been a Partner with Noor since 2022, having previously been a Partner with its legacy firm Wint, between 2018 and 2022. Earlier, she was a Partner at TGS Baltic between 2013 and 2018 as well as with AAA between 2006 and 2013. Earlier still, she was the Co-Founding Partner of the Law firm of R. Aleksynaite and D. Usinskaite-Filonoviene where she was between 2005 and 2006. Usinskaite-Filonoviene began her career working for Rhetor R&R as an Attorney at Law between 2000 and 2005.

"In the past three years, both globally and in Lithuania, we’ve experienced changes that would normally span a decade in more stable times," said Murauskas. "The legal services market has always been relatively conservative, but even we must adapt to the new reality and evolving client expectations. Daiva deals daily with extremely complex cases, often full of unexpected developments, no one is better prepared to respond to sudden transformations and adapt to a changing environment."

"Giedrius had the most difficult task, integrating two previously separate teams, introducing and establishing an entirely new brand, and resolving the inevitable challenges that come with such a process," added Usinskaite-Filonoviene. "Research shows that only around 25% of corporate mergers are successful, Noor is one of those rare cases, and Giedrius has been a key part of that success story."
