BSJP BNT has advised Saab on finalizing a PLN 230 million contract for the supply of two Saab 340 airborne early warning and control aircraft and related ground equipment, logistical, and training support to the Polish Armed Forces.

According to the firm, "the contract includes the delivery of complete solutions to integrate the aircraft into Poland’s air defense system as well as in-country logistics and support services. The duration of the contract spans from 2023 to 2025, with an additional two-year support period." The first of the two aircraft arrived in Poland in early March 2024.

"The Saab 340 AEW order enhances the Polish Armed Forces with innovative solutions and vital training capabilities, reinforcing territorial integrity and national security. With advanced situational awareness, including aerial surveillance and rescue operations, the aircraft and associated ground equipment can detect low-flying or fast-moving objects from vast distances, significantly enhancing Poland’s airspace security," BSJP BNT reported.

The BSJP BNT team was led by Partner Dag Nilsson and included Associate Michal Nowodworski.
