DLA Piper has appointed Counsel Irina Macovei as its Head of the Intellectual Property and Technology practice in Romania.
Macovei has been with DLA Piper since 2008, when she joined as a Junior Associate. She became an Associate in 2010, a Managing Associate in 2013, a Senior Associate in 2016, and finally a Counsel in 2020.
“I’m honoured to take on this role and continue supporting our clients as they navigate increasingly complex legal and regulatory challenges," Macovei commented. "The intersection of technology, data, privacy, and legal innovation is very exciting, and I look forward to building on our strong foundation.”
