Sayenko Kharenko has advised the International Finance Corporation on a EUR 66 million risk-sharing facility with Ukrsibbank.
According to Sayenko Kharenko, the facility is aimed at bolstering access to finance for Ukrainian midcap companies in sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, trade, and logistics. Under the terms of the transaction, IFC will share up to 50% of the risk on a loan portfolio totaling EUR 66 million. The initiative is backed by a partial guarantee from the French government and further supported by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
