Edyta Defanska-Czujko has joined Deloitte Legal as Partner and leader of the People Law/Employment Law & Benefits practice in Poland.
Defanska-Czujko joins together with Senior Associates Agnieszka Anusewicz and Karolina Kalinowska and will be followed, a month later, by the addition of Senior Managing Associate Sabina Carbol-Majnusz.
Prior to her move, Defanska-Czujko spent over five years with Crido, first joining the firm as a Counsel in 2019 and becoming Partner in 2022 (reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 14, 2022). Before that, she worked for Czublun Trebicki Law Office between 2013 and 2019, first as an Advocate and Coordinator of the Labor Law Practice and as a Partner from 2018 onward. Earlier still, she was a Lawyer with Domanski Zakrzewski Palinka between 2007 and 2013 and with Maciej Panfil and Partners between 2006 and 2007.
