Gide, working with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, has advised Goldman Sachs Bank on financing for Cerberus Capital Management affiliates' acquisition of over 10,000 Intrum loan portfolios with a nominal value of EUR 33 billion and a book value of EUR 1 billion across 13 European jurisdictions. Linklaters advised Cerberus Capital Management.

Scandinavian company Intrum is Europe's largest bad debt manager, operating in 20 markets, including Poland since 1998.
